Conceptualized and created to celebrate the area’s musical heritage and vibrant coastal setting, this large-scale sculpture was commissioned as a centerpiece for a luxury oceanfront resort. The work features a giant octopus performing on a cello, two violins, and a flute—an unexpected and whimsical spectacle designed to surprise and delight visitors. With three hearts, nine distributed brains, and eight highly articulate arms, the octopus becomes a fantastical composer-musician, embodying the boundless creativity and expressive potential of both nature and music.
