Created for The Historic Cavalier Oceanfront Resort & Embassy Suites by Hilton, in Virginia Beach, VA to honor both the area's musical legacy and oceanfront setting. This sculpture depicts a large Lined Seahorse with a vintage gramophone bell in place of its snout. Native to nearby waters, the Lined Seahorse is an indicator species, symbolizing environmental health and balance. The gramophone amplifies its role as a sentinel while nodding to the jazz-era sounds that once filled these historic halls—blending marine life with musical heritage.
